The Woods I & II Property Owners' Association

Welcome to The Woods I & II Property Owner’s Association website. This site was developed to provide our members with WPOA news and community resources.

The WPOA was formed in 1984 to promote the welfare of all residents. It plays an important role in maintaining property values as well as our quality of life in the Woods.

The Woods I & II includes the following amenities: a lake with a walking path, a swimming pool, and a double-court tennis court; the neighborhood's wide, winding streets create a sense of spaciousness within this lovely, wooded subdivision.

We are located in southeast Tyler, just a few minutes from The University of Texas at Tyler where area residents enjoy Broadway plays and international guest speakers and performers. TJC, our local college, offering 2- and 4-year degrees, includes a Cultural Arts District and is just 10 minutes away. WPOA members have easy access to all of the city’s amenities including fine dining, shopping, sporting events and sporting facilities.

The Woods I & II is in The Chapel Hill School District; numerous private schools are nearby, as well as Cumberland Academy, a charter school.
